D4 began in 2006 primarily as a mobile sound recording business, which grew into the physical recording studio that is still operating as D4 Recording Studio. Music has been a passion of mine for a long time and I have had a great time working for some amazing local and international artists.
I have worked with computers since I was a kid, and naturally built my own website and looked after my own branding and design needs. I started building websites and stores for other people and soon realised that I loved doing it! I began getting requests for design work more regularly, so I built this website as a platform to showcase my design work separately from my work as an audio engineer... I hope you like it!

Photography and video come hand-in-hand with my passion for music and audio; it's about capturing the moment. I love landscapes and astrophotography, and I can also use my camera skills to get great shots of your products if we need them!
Above all, my passion is traveling. It is not directly related to web design, but I feel that visiting new places provides an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience that simply can't be learnt sitting still.
Web Designer
I was born in Beaudesert, a small town south of Brisbane. I spent my younger years living in Rockhampton with my family where I completed high-school, after which I returned to Brisbane to study Audio.
My work in the audio industry has allowed me work with some amazing local and international artists; DEVO, Blondie, Simple Minds, Paul Dempsey and Busby Marou just to name a few. These days I tend to spend less time on the road, prefering to work with a handful of loyal artists such as Halfway, Kobrakai and childrens entertainers The Boogie Woogies.
My interest in design has grown over the years as I have spent more and more time building websites and designing artwork for advertising, album covers and the like. I may have terrible eyesight, but I know what good design looks like and I know how to achieve it!
Aside from my work with audio and design, I also work as an Acoustic Consultant for Brisbane firm Noise Measurement Services. We undertake Noise Impact Assessments for a variety of industries such as construction, mining, transport and agriculture.
Aside from work altogether, I love to travel with my wife. We have seen a lot of the planet already and can't wait to explore more. While traveling, I keep busy with photography, mountain-biking and skiing. The photograph at the top of this website was taken near a tiny town called Benton Hot Springs on the California / Nevada border, near Yosemite National Park (37°53'19.52"N, 118°38'13.86"W).
